Kenny’s artworks draw from the culture and daily life of Manipur, a state in India. The works reflect indigenous traditions, community life, and cultural identity from the artist’s hometown. Culture and environment play a central role in shaping the artist’s way of thinking and practice.


One of the artist’s projects, LAI, begins with the cultures and traditions of communities in Manipur and seeks to expand toward the wider North-East region of India and across the globe. Through these works, the artist presents cultural forms, symbols, and narratives from different communities while encouraging exchange and understanding across cultures.


The works emerge from an ongoing study of traditions and everyday life. Through design and form, the artist explores new ways of presenting cultural stories and shared human experiences.
